Miscellaneous Information

Miscellaneous Information:

I have a bachelor degree in Natural resources management from the Polytechnic of Namibia and a Masters degree in Environment Management, specialized in Biodiversity Conservation from the University of the Free State (South Africa). Before joining the Namibian Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, I worked for several ecological research projects in Namibia. In 2010 I joined the Namibian Research Institute where I gained experience in fisheries research, data management and analysis for resources management recommendations, human impacts on marine ecosystems etc. My interest is to monitor and analyse human impacts on marine biodiversity and identify suitable mitigation measures. I started my job as a Fisheries observer in the Falkland Islands in January 2019.
